Althought the buyer typically pays the fee, the seller and buyer may negotiate between themselves on how and who will pay the fee.
Q: Who is eligible to use the services of SpecialtyAuto Escrow?
Anyone who is seeking to complete the transaction of sale for autos, boats and watercraft, rv's, aircraft, or motorcycles in a secure, safe manner is eligible. Any vehicle(s) purchased from classified ads, newspaper ads, online ads, etc. are eligible. SpecialtyAuto Escrow may not be used for the purchase of real estate or other non-transportable items. SpecialtyAuto Escrow may not be used for the purchase of any items which are prohibited by law. Q: How is a dispute handled if the vehicle(s) do not match what was paid for?
SpecialtyAuto Escrow is holding the funds and the title to the vehicle(s) purchased. If there is a dispute, then the funds are sent back to the buyer, and the title(s) is sent back to the seller.

Q: What are the payment options?
You can use the below methods:
1. Purchasing Vehicle Funds: This is specified by the seller.
2. Service Fee: Personal Check, Business Check, Certified Check, Cashiers Check, Check by Phone, or a Money Order.
Q: Who do I address the funds to?
For BOTH the Purchasing Vehicles Funds and Escrow Service Fees, make all payable to SpecialtyAuto Escrow.

Q: How long will the escrow process take?
This is entirely dependant on the persons involved. If everyone cooperates in a timely matter with such information as title, checks, etc., the process can be completed within an average of 10 to 14 business days. Some will not take as long, some will take longer. Providing a safe and secure transaction IS relative to time.
